What is Action Research?
Action Research in the classroom is a systematic inquiry that is conducted by teachers to gather information about how they teach and how their students learn. To sum it up, Action Research is done by teh teacher for themselves. It is look at one’s own teaching practices (Mertler, 2019).
To begin my research, I needed to come up with a research topic. The research topic must be well-written and very specific. They can not ask a yes or no, or an opinion question. Action research is content based, generates new knowledge, and improves educational practices. After determining my topic, I developed my Action Research Outline. This put me on a path to fully developing my Literature Review and Action Research Plan.

Supporting the Research
In order to give my Action Research Plan credibility to stakeholders, I had to do research that supported my topic. Without research supporting blended learning, there would be less of a chance that stakeholders would support my Action Research. I created a Literature Review that supports blended learning, the station rotation model, and the pros and cons of using blended learning.
My Action Research Plan
My Action Research Plan is seeking to find out if blended learning with station rotations has an impact on student math achievement in a second-grade classroom. This Action Research is based on my Innovation plan. Below is my complete Action Research Plan that explains how I will implement this Action Research Plan, assess the data, and what I will do with the results.
