During this course, I was provided the opportunity to create an outline for an Action Research Plan for my Innovation Plan that involves using blended learning with station rotations in a second-grade classroom. I was able to complete a Literature Review to give my Action Research merit when I present the data to stakeholders. Lastly, I was provided the opportunity to create my Action Research Plan. This course is one that I feel will benefit me as a classroom teacher, but will also benefit my students. Action Research is not something teachers are familiar with and became genuinely interested in the implementation of it throughout this course.
For this course, I have worked with an outstanding group of people. We have collaborated both in discussion boards and in a private group, as well as shared resources via email. The ladies have also given me the encouragement and confidence I needed to keep going. They are Maria Lopez, Alyssa Malveaux, Valerie Regalado, and Rachel Hull. During this course, I completed all the discussions in a timely manner and replied to at least two other discussion posts. I reflected on the posts of others and commented in depth on their comments. I used APA cited references with the discussions. I do not feel I took a true leadership role in my base group, as we all contribute equally in the reflections and postings. My collaboration group did confer and gave feedback on assignments.
Regarding my work, I completed all the readings, videos, and attended all the online sessions. I did not receive feedback on graded assignments that required revisions at this time. All of my assignments were turned by the due dates.
For my overall grade, I feel I have met all the Key Contributions and Supporting Contribution were met, but I feel as a leader I still have room to grow. I am giving myself an 89 in the course.
