My ADL Innovative Proposal started out as an idea that I was excited about, but I was apprehensive to share it for fear of getting negative feedback. This past week, I explained my blended learning station rotation plan to one of our district math instructional coaches. I initially wrote my plan to implement it with social studies, but after some discussion, we realized that it would fit into our new math curriculum that we are piloting. It was a great feeling to discuss my research and my plan to someone. It was an even greater feeling to discuss the implementation of my idea within my grade level this year. I hope to be able to document the data results and add this to my research.
I am excited to continue this ADL program and build on my innovation plan. The CSLE+COVA approach is helping me find the courage to connect my learning and deepen my understanding. It is helping me find my voice and feel more confident when discussing what I have learned in the program. It is giving me ownership over my innovative ideas. It is helping me grow as a professional and as an autodidactic learner. I look forward to seeing where the rest of the ADL program takes me.
